Hydrogen consortium Koplopers Nederland Waterstofland, in which our Dutch business Remeha is a key participant, has called for hydrogen to play a prominent role in the next Dutch government’s policy programme, and urged the government to make ‘10 commitments’ to accelerate the hydrogen economy.

At a special online event on 7 April, Koplopers Nederland Waterstofland also presented a ‘bid book full of hydrogen commitments’ showing the plans and projects that companies are working on across the Netherlands. The bid book was presented to Diederik Samsom, head of cabinet to EU commissioner Frans Timmermans, Executive Vice-President for the European Green Deal.

Koplopers Nederland Waterstofland is an initiative of MissieH2, a hydrogen alliance driven by seven companies: Remeha, Gasunie, Toyota, Groningen Seaports, Shell, Stedin and Port of Amsterdam. More than 80 companies participate in Koplopers Nederland Waterstofland.
