Our procurement processes are aimed at ensuring a stable, responsible supply of high-quality products and services for our customers. We challenge all our suppliers to have strong business ethics, respect people, and care for the environment.

What we aim for

We aim to conduct business with our suppliers in a fair, objective, and transparent manner.  Customer satisfaction, care for the environment and quality guide our procurement management approach. Only suppliers that meet our high standards of quality, sustainability and collaboration can achieve a place on our preferred supplier list.

Customer satisfaction

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. Our quality team continuously monitors our supply chain performance. That way, we ensure our products live up to and exceed our customers’ expectations in terms of usability, quality, and reliability.

Environmental

We care about the environment. We ensure responsible practices across our supply chain, including recycling, waste disposal, packaging, and transport. We collaborate with suppliers to drive efficiency at every stage of the product lifestyle, to minimise use of materials and energy, as well as waste.

Quality

We only select suppliers that meet our standards for high-quality materials and services. BDR Thermea Group has a zero-defect approach. That means we expect our suppliers to apply the ‘first time right’ principle. This reduces waste and costs for our suppliers and customers.

We measure the sustainable practices of our suppliers against international standards through the EcoVadis framework. The annual audit allows us to assess the environmental, social and ethical performance of our suppliers and monitor progress.
